Technical Intern Training Program (TITP)

The Technical Intern Training Program (TITP) is a flagship initiative by the Government of Japan aimed at transferring practical skills, knowledge, and technology to young workers from partner countries, including Pakistan.

Under this program, Pakistani participants are placed in leading Japanese companies across various sectors such as:

  • Manufacturing

  • Agriculture

  • Food Processing

  • Textiles

  • Construction

  • Healthcare

Program Duration & Career Pathways

The program typically spans three to five years, enabling participants to achieve real expertise in their chosen trades.

After completing the program, workers can:

  • Contribute to Pakistan’s economic growth with their newly acquired skills.

  • Progress to Japan’s long-term employment options such as the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) visa.

Impact

According to the Japanese Ministry of Justice, TITP has already helped over 400,000 foreign workers build careers in Japan since its inception. With Pakistan now included, this program represents a milestone opportunity for Pakistani youth seeking structured overseas employment.
